THE BREMEN TOWN BOYS

Book, Music and Lyrics by Michael L. Ricciardi and John D. Nugent

The Brothers Grimm in their own story??!! A scheming Princess casts a spell over the four musicians knows as the Bremen Town Boys, changing each into an animal. But they can still sing and play. In their escape they confront a band of robbers who have commandeered a cottage, where our "Boys" find their musical instruments. They endeavor to scare off the robbers and eventually decide to escort them to the Sheriff.

Meanwhile - - the Brothers Grimm are having difficulty with this play, and decide they need more action. The characters decide to take matters into their own hands and revolt.

Of course, in the end all loose ends are tied up so that all can live "happily ever after"!
